In-Situ Dynamic Balancing Service
- Rotating unbalance is the uneven distribution of mass around an axis of rotation. A rotating mass, or rotor, is said to be out of balance when its center of mass (inertia axis) is out of alignment with the center of rotation (geometric axis)
- Why Balance? Balanced rotors are critical for achieving production and profit goals. Unbalance creates high vibration, which leads to other faults resulting in decreased machine life, wasted energy and reduced efficiency. Smooth-running machines are required for producing products that meet customer specifications.
- When unbalance has been identified and quantified, the correction is straightforward. Weight has to be either added or removed from the rotating component. The ultimate aim of balancing engineer attempts to bring the center of mass and the geometric center to the same point or close enough to meet a predetermined balance standard Grade. There will always be some residual unbalance.
- We offer the highest balancing grade as per ISO 1940 by precious phase measurement using the latest FFT analyzer cum field balancer & laser based optical phase reference. This system makes balancing very fast and precise positioning of balancing mass thus avoiding requirement of trim balancing.
